Will 16GB of RAM @2800Mhz work on my Ryzen 5?

Hi people, recently I bought a Ryzen 5 1500X and a X370 Motherboard but haven´t bought any RAM, my question is, will 2800mhz ram work? They are the G. Skill Ripjaws V. Thanks.

Will likely run at 2666MHz , but yeah should work fine.

Sure 2800 works but at a lower speed. Fastest it can do is 2667mhz. Know tho 2667 RAM may drop down to 2400mhz and you really want 2667 at the lowest.
