Should be fine. Don't worry if your ram model no. isn't in the motherboards approved memory list, they dont always test everything so its not necessarily an indication of a problem.
I'm using 4790K on Asus Z97 Pro with 32gb (4x8gb) Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866 CL9 ram populating all the slots. It wasn't on the list of approved yet the 16gb pack of same time was which made me a little worried. So I contact Asus support and they said they just dont have time to test every single combo so it should be ok.
So far seems to be fine, Prime95 tests check out and I've ran memtest86 multiple passes all ok.
When you get your ram just set the XMP Profile in Bios first, then run a memtest86 to check.
