Have a seagate external hard drive. Lost the power supply. On there website they say it has .6a max and all i can find is .25a max. It wont work. It keeps making a clicking sound.

Solution
If it is under-powered it will make a clicking sound. If the power is right and you hear a clicking sound then it is bad news; means that the drive is failing or has failed. "HDTune" and/or "CrystalDiskInfo" will give you the health status on the drive.
