[SOLVED] Will 3600 bottleneck

So I just won the Newegg raffle and got a 3070ti out of it. But my system has a R5 3600 on b450 , i game at 1440p and was wanting to know if anyone had a similar build and experienced a bottleneck as I don’t have another cpu to test against. Some places say it does and others say it doesn’t and I need to cut through the fat. I mainly play total war games.

Not enough to worry about. I’m running a 3700x and 3080 for 1440p 144Hz. In gpu heavy games the gpu is the limiting factor. In less gpu heavy games the cpu can be the limiting factor but the FPS are way over 144fps so it doesn’t matter, I end up capping the FPS anyway. The 3600 is close to the 3700x for gaming. It will be a very good combination assuming you have at least 2x8gb RAM of at least 3000mhz.

Forgot to say, just make sure you have good cpu cooling and switch on PBO. It will give a nice little boost.
