Will 4k run on my tv ?

I just got a 1080p 42ince sony smart tv.....w700b bravia. I have downloaded some 4k videos,,, now since my tv is not 4k...will the video be able to run on my tv via the usb.... thanks for reading.

I love toms hardware,,, it solves all my problem.

it will scale down by itself, but what do you mean via USB?

Beezy is right. The videos will just scale down to 1080p.

I also agree with the above, but I am not sure that usb has the bandwidth to stream a 4k video. I have never tried it. From the quick google I just did, I don't think it is supported.
