I am looking to buy some more ram, my current are pc2 6400 667mhz ram slotsand I was wondering if pc2-5300 667mhz ram will fit into my current ram slots

Yes, they will fit without no problem.
As long as they are both ddr2, which they seem to be.
But you should check your Motherboard manual, to see if the RAM you are thinking of buying, is compatible with your Motherboard.

But you would most likely get a slower performance, since the 5300 RAM is slower than the 6400.
Your RAM will not run faster than your slowest RAM, if that makes any sense.
It's better to change swap all your RAM for the PC2-8500

how do i check the motherboard manual?

Send me your computer name

I dunno if Ebay is the site to get RAM from, but I can do the search for you.

Solution

You probably will need to look at the RAM directly, just take a photo with your cellphone, and check if it's DIMM or UDIMM.

If all the slots are taken, you will not notice much difference in swapping them out.
By chips, I mean the memory stick itself.

If you are certain the investment is worth it, just buy the ones you linked.
They got a life time warranty, so just resend them if problems shall arise.

Yeah, they are DIMM. You look good to go, but again, I do not think the investment will be worth it. But only my cup of tea, good luck!
