Will 6600 Bottleneck 1080

I have an intel i5 6600 (no oc) with asus z170 pro gaming and 8gb ram and would like to ask if this would bottleneck the 1080.

Probably. The minimum for a 1080 would be a 6600k with a decent overclock.

If it does then I'd wouldn't think it would be bottlenecking it much, I've seen the G560 powering a 1080 Ti and in some games the performance difference wasn't too noticeable.
