[SOLVED] Will 7th-9th Gen CPUs work with an MSI B150 Gaming M3?

I have an MSI B150 Gaming M3 and was wondering if newer-gen processors would work with it as I would rather not have to buy a new motherboard haha

According to the compatibility list, it won't work with 8th or 9th gen Intel CPUs

Only 6/7th gen span over 100/200 series. 8/9th, although same socket, the pin arrangements are slightly different and power delivery isn't the same.
