I'm on PCpartpicker choosing parts for my first build and my case only has 3.5" slots and I cant find any SSD's that aren't 2.5". So now I'm wondering will a 2.5" SSD stay (not fall out of) a slot in a case that is 3.5" ?

Solution
Some cases support 2.5" mounting in a 3,5" bay. If it does not, you'll have to use the with the SSD included bracket (you could call it a 2,5" to 3,5" converter if you'd like). If in the rare case your SSD didn't come with one, you'll have to buy a bracket yourself. These are not expensive:

For a bit cheaper, but plastic one: http://www.amazon.com/Screw-less-Mounting-Adapter-Bracket-Holder/dp/B00JGNUO9E/ref=sr_1_11?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1402422855&sr=1-11&keywords=ssd+bracket

Hope this answers your question.
