Hey guys. I am looking forwards to buy a new dedicated gpu since my current one is an integrated one. I decided to buy the evga gtx 750 ti sc but I am not sure if my power supply can support it. Sure it is 450 watts but since it is from a pre-built pc, it might be overestimated.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, 450W is plenty, even from a crappy supply.
The reference 750Ti needs around 60W while 3rd party cards could need up to around 90W or so.
just put a 750 ti in my tower, and it works like a charm. no crashes, and it doesn't run super hot. Granted I have a fairly large case with high airflow, but I haven't felt air warmer than room temperature coming from it, even after 3 hours of SMITE.

Yes, no trouble with that.

I also run an old PC with this exact card in it, it has only a 400 watt PSU - so you will be fine.

This particular MSI card pulls a theoretical max of 38.5 watts with its standard Bios.rom, even in 'OC' mode (using the MSI gaming app).

I modded the Bios.rom and now for example, it pulls around 70 watts* when the gpu clock is boosting to 1460Mhz and the vram at 3200MHz!

This card uses so little power it's unreal!

*According to Afterburner.
