Question Will a 650w PSU be enough for a 4070 Super ?

I'm considering upgrading to a 4070 Super when it drops. I have a Corsair 650w Silver PSU and wonder if it will be enough. My cpu is a 5800X3D. I currently have a 2070 Super in my system which has similar wattage requirements and I have never had a problem.

I also wonder what kind of performance decrease I will have due to my motherboard's PCIe lanes. I have a B450-F.

PSU shouldn't pose a problem, likewise PCIe. Current gen GPU's barely even max out PCIe 3, let alone 4 or 5.

A 4070 super will outperform your 2070 card.

Power supply should be ok (how old is it?).

Next time you upgrade/buy power supply get a good quality A unit model.
