[SOLVED] Will a B550 motherboard bottleneck a PCIE Gen 4.0 SSD?

So I'm looking to get a pcie gen 4 SSD and this is my current motherboard: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-B550M-MORTAR-WIFI

I've established that B550 motherboards support Gen4 (via the CPU), but not the chipset. as opposed to an x570 motherboard that supports it via the chipset, and I was wondering if this would affect the speeds that I get.

via cpu would be faster. so b550 would work fine.

The top M.2 slot gets its lanes from the CPU, and will be 4.0.
