will a better motherboard improve a systems performance?

want to upgrade my mobo from gigabyte-b75m-hd3 to Asrock z77 extreme 3. Don't wanna Oc anything. rest of my specs,i5-3470,8gigs of ram@1600mhz,sapphire hd 7970 anda regular hdd. will these same components run better on a new mobo? will I get any extra framerates?

Nope. Unless there's a feature you feel is missing, the motherboard is failing in some way, or you think you need more SATA or USB connectors, don't bother.

Better boards will get better results on overclocking but in real life situations thats it (some have more support than others as mentioned in above post). Unless you are benchmarking then you will not see any real difference in performance.
