Will a DVI-D connection work with the new GTX 980?

I am going to be purchasing a GTX 980 for my new build. I have a temporary monitor that only supports VGA and DVI-D. I know that VGA is not supported on the 980. I was wondering, does the card allow for a DVI-D connection?

Yes, using a DVI-D cable should work just fine.
