Will a GTX 1070 8GB fit in my case and my motherboard? (Specs below)

Currently I'm stuck with a GTX 760 as my graphics card, used to be a beast but now with battlefield 1 coming out I don't even meet the minimum requirements to play the game. The 1070 8GB seems like the next best thing as it bests the 980 Ti, and is $300 cheaper that the 1080. Here's my specs:

Case: Asus Essentio Series M51AD
(https://www.asus.com/us/Tower-PCs/M51AD/)

Motherboard: ASUSTEK COMPUTER Inc. k30ad_m31ad_m51ad

Power Supply: 500W

Sorry about the lack of information on the motherboard, after doing a quick internet search it seems like no one has a clue what motherboard they have lol

(If you'd like to see the inside of the case, I can link pictures if needed but honestly there's at least 5 inches of room for the length of the graphics card.

Probably, depending on card length, some of the 1070s may be too long.
Take a picture with a ruler showing the entire length from the PCIE slot to whatever it bumps up against (the hard drive cage most likely)

You should definitely replace your power supply though, it's assuredly some low quality garbage, and it's a bad idea to run your new $300-400 GPU on some $5 piece of junk PSU that came with your cheapo computer.

Any of these are good though:

Solution
ASUS specs showed that it's a H81 board which should be recent enough for the latest gen card, but, some of the shortest GTX 1070 are Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Mini (8.27", 210mm) and Gigabyte GTX 1070 8GB Mini ITX OC (6.65", 169mm) so if there really is just ~5" space for it, I'm afraid a GTX 1070 would not fit into your case.

In fact, are you absolutely certain that there is just 5" of space for the graphic card?
Since single fan solution like the Gigabyte ITX card or say even a RX 460 like the MSI RX 460 2G OC are all ~6.5"-7".

5" sounds too small to me, he should probably have at least 6 or 7, as even motherboards are longer than 5 inches.

Oh no I meant there's an extra 5" of empty space lengthwise from my GTX 760
Not sure why you PMed me instead of just post/edit in this thread.

With this, then the case is definitely big enough to allow you some choice in model and variations of GTX1070.

Now as to that PSU, I'd second James that you'll want to replace it for at least this:
SeaSonic S12II 620W

Unless your ASUS prebuilt has some kind of sudden surprises in store for us like a proprietary power plug on its motherboard like some prebuilt Dell.

It shouldn't, my dad had a case basically exactly like that, all standard computer hardware.
