I'm currently on a 60Hz monitor and motion sickness is a huge deal for me. There are lots of games I can't play (never managed to play Half Life for more than 1 hour for example), because I end up having a headache and severe nausea, even when there's not a lot of motion.
So I've bought a 144Hz monitor, do you think I'll suffer less from motion sickness or it has nothing to do with the display?

Solution
The higher refresh should help quite a bit but you'll want to make sure your hardware will push those frames or at least adjust the settings to keep the FPS high. Freesync/Gsync could help as well.

EDIT: If your new 144hz is Freesync and has a DisplayPort connection then you should be able to use your 2060 with it using a DisplayPort cable and following these directions.

IMO, having a variable refresh rate (FreeSync) monitor helps quite a bit. If you get one, get a 144Hz because they have low frame rate compensation.

Not sure what your system specs are.

One other thing you can try for free. Most games have a "Field of View" (FOV) setting. Adjusting that oftentimes helps with motion sickness.

My monitor has no Freesync or G-sync unfortunately...
