Will a i3-3240 @ 3.40 ghz bottleneck a GTX 1050 Ti?

Hi there folks,
This is my first post and some-what newish computer enthusiast.
my specs:
GPU: GT 640
CPU: i3-3240 @ 3.40 GHz
8 gb RAM

Will the GTX 1050 be bottlenecked by the processor? if so by how much? I heard that if you bottleneck a gpu it will put a strain on your computer. I was also looking at the 750 Ti or the 950 Ti.

Any feedback at all helps.

The i3 would be a problem in some games, but it would be great in most. The 1050 or 1050ti would be a great upgrade for you. You could always find a used 3rd gen i5 for cheap later if you want.
