Question Will a non FE 3080/3090 fit my case?

Hi, my case is Thermaltake VN300M1W2N Chaser MK-I Full Tower and it supports a max gpu length of 330mm. While a bunch of custom cards sit around 310-325mm, it sounds almost any card should fit but i'm cutting it close and I can't simply remove the HDD bay in my case to have more space available. How accurate are these measurements? can some of them be off by a few mm or are they very accurate? if I find lets say a 325mm long 3080ti available for purchase, should i just buy it? I wouldn't mind getting a new case but I definitely don't have the time/energy to basically rebuild my pc so I would rather just focus on getting a prebuilt. What do you guys think?

I would trust the dimensions because what's the alternative?

If I got it and it didn't fit....I'd cross that bridge at that time.

You can use https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ to determine compatibility. Put your build together, minus the GPU, then look at a list of compatible cards.
