Will a Nvidia card work with a AMD card?

I am currently using a MSI Radeon r9 270x and have a gtx 750 that is being unused and was wondering if those two could work together in my build? My motherboard is a Asus M5A97 R2.0

For most intenst and purposes no they will not work togther. It may be possible if just using 1 to power a monitor or 2 but the driver conflicts usually make it painful.

nope not possible not unless nvidia and amd merge 😀

It might be possible to use the gtx 750 as a physx card but drivers could have conflicts and its not worth it. you are better selling or saving it as a spare part just in case.

You can use the card to drive extended displays, and there used to be a hack to allow it to run PhysX in the rare few games that use it, but it isn't likely worth it, unless you just wanted to have extended displays beyond what your current card can use.

There is no conflicting drivers, as long as you are using Win 7 or higher. Vista didn't mix, but since Win 7, they don't get in the way.
