Will a PCI graphics card fit into a PCI Express x1 Slot?

As the title states, would a PCI graphics card fit into a PCI Express x1 Slot, without causing damage to my motherboard, ect.? Thanks.

No, if it's an actual PCI graphics card then it won't fit. But PCI graphics cards went extinct a LONG time ago. It's all been PCI-Express for years, and before that it was AGP.

Obviously, a PCI card will not fit in a PCIe x1 slot.

But a PCI-E x16 graphics card can be made to fit in a PCI-E x1 slot by either modifying the slot, the card or a riser cable. And in many cases it actually works!

Its an ACTUAL PCI card. I just wanted to test it for an experiment. So sadly, it wont fit?
