[SOLVED] Will a Powerline connection with ethernet reduce lagspikes?

So I've gotten new internet recently and now my ping is normal, but now i have lagspikes.
They don't happen as often as ive seen other users, maybe 1 lagspike per minute
Would a powerline connection with an ethernet cable solve the issue?

Are you using WiFi atm or are you using a cable plugged in to your PC directly from your router or hub?

I'm using WiFi. the router is pretty far away too, at the other side of the house

A powerline will most likely get you an even connection without spikes vs WiFi. Not as good as buying a spool of Ethernet wire and routing it through the house but I’d use powerline over WiFi.
