Will a WiFi card in Pcie x4 takes lanes from GPU in Pcie x16?

I have a Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H motherboard with 1x Pcie x16, 1x Pcie x4 and 2x Pcie x1. I have a GTX 660 (planning to upgrade to 1060 once it starts selling) in the Pcie x16 slot. The GPU completely covers one Pcie x1 slot and partially the other Pcie x1 slot. The only available Pcie slot is the Pcie x4 at the bottom.

I need to add a Wifi card to the computer. All the Wifi cards I looked at are intended for Pcie x1. I know I can put a Pcie x1 Wifi card to a Pcie x4 slot. But my question is, will it take lanes from the Pcie x16 slot and impact the performance of the GPU?

Solution
As long as the gpu is in the primary slot (closest to the cpu) you'll be fine. Sometimes there's a setting to enable the x1 slot that's normally disabled by default in the bios, so x16/x4/x0 becomes x16/x2/x1
Nope. In every mobo I can think of, the primary pcie x16 slot is dedicated, its only in sli/xfire capable boards that the secondary pcie x16 slot will share lanes, such as my Asus p8z77-v LE which is nominally x16/x4 but when using a pcie x1 slot becomes x16/x2

The motherboard is Crossfire capable.
