Im looking at AMD A320M motherboards and they all seem to have one x16 and two x1 PCIe slots.

I want to use a 4x USB 3.1 card in the 16x PCIe slot, a PCIe 1x GPU, and a 1x sata card at the same time. will this work ok?

My previous intel B150 mobo would not support the x4 USB3.1 card in its secondary x16 slot when using a x16 GPU and x1 sata card, the second x16 slot had to be set to x2 mode.

The bandwdth is less now using only a 1x GPU but Im not sure if the primary x16 slot can be set, either manually or automatically, to a reduced 4x mode to save bandwidth for the 1x slots.

the board will probably be Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H or ASUS AMD PRIME A320M-K, whatevers cheapest

thanks for the suggestions, the USB and SATA needs to be through PCIe card for reasons that are probably not worth getting into

The graphics card is going to run pretty terribly in a PCIe 2.0 x1 slot.

Edit: Actually the x1 slots aren't open ended, so you couldn't even install a x16 graphics card in them at all. Or do you mean you actually have a GPU that uses a physical x1 connector?

yes, zotac have 1x passive cooled card, its needed for a basic visual feed that isnt CPU graphics, nothing intensive like gaming.
