Hello everyone!

I'm thinking about PC parts for my build, and I want to ask: will AMD A-10 5800k bottleneck RX 480?

And if it will, how bad would it bottleneck?

Thanks for your help :)

Your CPU determines the maximum framerates you can get in a game, regardless of what video card you use. Your CPU would bottleneck a low-end card just as much as a high-end one.

The 5800K will cause reduced framerates in many games, but most will still be playable and enjoyable.
What if I would overclock my CPU?

I might upgrade my CPU after some time. My friend gifted it to me so I want to use it. Also I want other parts to be good, so if I upgrade CPU and Motherboard, other components would be strong as well and there would be no need to change them.

It would help, but don't count on a massive boost. You could us the CPU for a HTPC since it has a good iGPU, while the rest of the components should be OK as long as you have 8GB of RAM, and with time you should buy an SSD, but should concentrate more on upgrading the CPU.
