Question Will AMD Smart Access Memory (SAM) work on B550 Motherboards?

I have been unable to find a definitive answer as to whether or not AMD's Smart Access Memory (SAM) will support the B550 motherboard and which motherboard brands it will support if it does support B550. I plan to order some gaming PC parts for my new build on either Black Friday or Cyber Monday to save money and wait for the supply for both the Nvidia RTX and Radeon RX cards and Ryzen CPUs (particularly the Ryzen 9 5900X) to meet demand. Regardless of whether I go with an RTX 3070/3080 or RX 6800/6800XT, I would like the motherboard to support SAM if I end up getting an RX card when I build the PC or if I switch to Radeon during a video card upgrade process 18 months to 2 years down the road. I would like to save money on the motherboard because I do not plan to overclock. If the B550 does support SAM, then I see no need to go with the X570. Does anyone know if SAM will be supported by B550 motherboards and which motherboard brands will support it?

MSI announced they will support SAM on A520, B550 and X570 MBs:
Both B550 and A520 motherboards support AMD's Smart Access Memory feature - Optocrypto
MSI Releases Beta BIOS for AMD 500 Series Motherboards to Support AMD Smart Access Memory (vortez.net)

And I'm sure the other major MB manufacturers will provide BIOS updates to support SAM as well.
It's just a matter of when.
