will an i5 4670k bottleneck a Strix 980?

Got an i5 4670k running at 3.4ghz. Playing on a single 2k 27" display. Want to play games like the witcher 3 or GTA 5 on atleast medium settings.

It will not bottleneck it... Especially if you overclocked it. Get it to 4.2 or 4.4GHz and it will be fine

No, it will not bottleneck it even when not overclocked. However, overclocking is always good. 😀
