Will an i5-4690 bottleneck the gtx 1070 which is said to be faster than the titan x? Do I need an i7?

I've been waiting to get my hands on the gtx 1070 and it's going to be faster than the titan x. Amidst my excitement I realised that my i5 4690 could potentially bottleneck it. My friends told me that you need a minimum of an i7 for a titan x so a gtx 1070 must need an i7 too, right? I'll be playing at 1080p but i need this card to last 3-4 years. I could get an i7-4790 but it would be very difficult and I'd have to sell my ps4(which I don't want to do). Can i have a gtx 1070 and an i5 without any cpu bottlenecks? Also I have a 450w psu, would that be enough to supporta gtx 1070?

Solution
A 4690 is pretty fast, the fastest Haswell stock i5 there is. I bet it can handle 2 980Ti's easily.

In any case, a 4790 is not worth the extra money, especially because it's a locked processor.

no

depends on the make and model

most likely you will need at least a 500w unit

Yeah i have the i5 4690 and want the gtx 1070 do you think i can play intensive games on it without any bottleneck? (GTA V and more)
