Will an i5 help run bf1 better?

I've been trying to run bf1 at 768p with an i3 4170 and gtx 960. It's mostly alright, besides intensive 64 player moments when it goes around 30fps. Would an i5 4460 or similar i5 show a change in performance, and how much ty

Yes most definitely. Games with that many players are really CPU intensive, so even if you ran low qualtiy low resolution, you'd get the same frame rate.

yea.. that is what i was goin through, there was nothing i could do to run it better. hopefully its not always at 100 after i get it
