Question Will an i9- 9900k Work On a Asus PRIME Z370-A? Anything else I should worry about?

I'm looking into getting an i9-9900K.

When it comes to PC building I can't say I'm certain about anything. I was wondering if my motherboard could handle it. I got the motherboard along with my whole rig about a year and a half ago. Is my motherboard the only thing I should be concerned about? If so, what other things should I worry about (like power supply, I don't know)? I read that you had to download a Bios update.

You'd have to update the board's BIOS, clean and reapply thermal compound.

Isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs. There should be some videos on youtube for how to.
