I have a prebuilt. I want to install a GPU that requires MINIMUM 500w. My current PCU is in a TFX form factor. I couldn't find a higher wattage (500+) TFX power supply to replace with mine. Is there any standard form factor like microATX, FlexATX, nano-ITX, and mini-ITX that I can find a 500+w for a reasonable price (under 50$) and install with no or minimal problems?

also is this real/reliable/recommended?:

Solution
If you're uncomfortable with selling your system, the i5 8400 is still a pretty decent cpu and the ssd is fine as well, if having dualchannel ram now would that be fine too. You could build something around that.

Like this,

PCPartPicker Part List

Motherboard: Asus PRIME B365M-A Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($67.98 @ Amazon)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 CL16 Memory ($61.99 @ Corsair)
Case: NZXT H500 ATX Mid Tower Case ($44.99 @ NZXT)
Power Supply: Corsair CXF 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($72.00 @ Newegg)
Total: $246.96

the psu has a rebate on it so if you could make use of that would the price be just $60

Use the RX 570 of course and as said if you have dualchannel ram can you reuse that too if normal size.

If you want a good cpu cooler for a good price get this,
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/TnJtt6/cryorig-m9-plus-484-cfm-cpu-cooler-m9-plus
with this should getting the 8400 to keep turbo speeds high be no problems. Comes with a little tube of paste.
Or this one since , at least i can't, get a price on the Cryorig?

the red fan is a fixed color btw.

Having the PSU outside the case isn't exactly unsafe, but it isnt very practical etc. I have used an adapter to get an ATX PSU working with a oem 12vo motherboard only once. It worked.

I have also had a very bad experience with an adapter catching fire and killing what it was attached to.

I'd say sell the machine and get something worth spending money into.
