Question Will Asus Crashfree BIOS 3 work on a newer cpu?

I have a ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-PLUS that was originally released with 12th gen support. The motherboard came from the factory with a 13th gen bios so my 13th gen i5 does work on it. I'm just not sure if the bios recovery feature works with a 13th gen cpu because from my understanding the recovery feature doesn't get updated with a bios update.

It should work with any CPU that is compatible with that board.
