Hi, guys!

As in the statement, I have a Dell optiplex 760 tower. The card's length is (I think) 1.5 inches x 8.5 inches x 4.5 inches. As you can guess, I don't know the space available inside the case. It is a dual slot card and I will mod the case but the main concern is the length. Will the cpu heatsink be in the way. Specs of the pc are

q9300 processor
4gb ram
255w standard dell power supply

Also will you guys suggest this over gtx 560 ti and r7 260x. Price difference is minute as I would have to buy a new power supply with them.

Thanks in advance guys.

I used single fan for length. It's only a 65W GPU so 2 fans are kind of bogus anyway. I used PNY but my computer was Legacy BIOS. MSI makes some UEFI cards. The cut off piece can be used behind the card to let heat out. Might be all you need. It took me about 5 minutes to mod the card.
Two fans = too long!

open the case and measure

I put those in by getting one w/o connectors on the 2nd bracket, then remove the bracket and cut in 1/2.
If the air just blows out around the fan sides your done. If it has a full cover then I cut back the side of it 1/2" at the rear so the air goes out the rear vent. Test w/o bracket. Check to see if the 760 is UEFI. I think it might be because the 780 which is almost identical except for DDR3 is. 750s come in UEFI, and Legacy versions.
An expansion slot blower helps GPU temps. Vented slot covers might work, but I used the fan.

I planned to just cut the case but your solution seems better but did you use the asus model because it has dual fan and longer length.
