I will be upgrading this summer and I need to know beforehand in order to feel comfortable buying.

Will I be able to upgrade the bios while using the new processor or do I have to download the bios update on a flash drive or something like that?

You will need a natively compatible processor (second generation) in order to upgrade the BIOS to allow for third generation processors. If you do not have one, a local PC Shop (or if you're purchasing the motherboard locally) may be able to do it for you.

All depends on when you buy them, right now no you can't find one that is compatible out of the box. You can, however, ask if the merchant can upgrade it for you for a small fee.

Or you can buy a B450 that supports the bios Flashback, which is using the USB. I think MSI tomahawk offers it.
