Will Bioshock Infinite require Origin activation?

Hey guys, just wanting to know if anyone knows if Bioshock Infinite will require activation using origin because I dont have internet at home (I'm writing this at work). Origin is a very annoying if you dont have internet. Reason why I didn't buy Dead Space 3 for PC, had to get for 360.

I see you are in a dabocle sir jaguar... ok I didn't know if EA from the start of origin, all games after are origin activation needed.

you can get in through steam along with some other great titles, or Green man Gaming, i see its not even available on Origin yet... if you dont have internet, you may be in a bit of trouble, as it will no doubt need to activate through the internet, along with the inevitable patch in the next few days after launch.

Bioshock Infinite is an Irrational Games/2k Games production, not EA.

And no OP, it won't require Origin. It's shouldn't even be available on Origin.

Beat me to it, CasualColors. Not only is Bioshock Infinite not an EA game, it's also published by 2K Games, who hasn't signed up as a publisher using Origin.

Bioshock Infinite is unlikely to support Origin. It is, however, a Steamworks game, and is up for pre-purchase on Steam right now.

2K has pretty well adopted SteamWorks as a standard across all of its games.
