Will Changing My Current AMD GPU to an NVIDIA One Cause Driver Problems?

I currently have an AMD Radeon HD 7950 installed to my system, but I have recently ordered a new NVIDIA GTX 780 to replace it. My concern is, if I simply remove my current AMD GPU and put in my new NVIDIA GPU, will it cause problems considering I have AMD's graphics drivers installed on my system? I just want to make sure the upgrade will go smoothly.

before remvoing your old card Uninstall all amd drivers
then put in the 780 and download the latest Nvidia drivers

Boot your PC.
Uninstall Radeon Catalyst drivers.
Shut down.
Swap GPUs.
Boot your PC.
Install nVidia drivers.
