[SOLVED] Will cloud alpha run on realtek 887 codex

I'm currently thinking of getting the hyperx cloud alpha but im not sure if my onboard audio can run it (msi b360 pro-vd) if anyone knows would be really nice

It should. The cloud 2 model has its own dac and won’t use your Realtek. Maybe you should get those

i'm sorta confused as to whether they will run on a good volume or be low, because i keep hearing it runs on high impedence, tbh i have no clue at all 🙁

65 ohms isn’t that hard to drive

Yeah it's all pretty standard nowadays. It's a relatively recent and decent motherboard and headset. You're not gonna run into any issues.
