No. Xfire and SLI are hardly supported any more. New GPU's come out each year more powerful than often two of the previous generation. It's always best to have a single more powerful card than two mid-range or previous gen versions. In addition, there has always been an inherent issue that's still not solved for SLI/Xfire , that being micro-stuttering, and also poor scaling in most cases.
