Hi, I am trying to build a dual GPU server for machine learning experiments and 3D rendering. I have two Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 4090s that I got a good deal on, and I'm trying to find a motherboard that has the following qualities:
Also, another question I has is that if I later want to utilize the PCIe slots that are covered up by these massive GPUs, is it generally possible to fit risers with cables underneath them so that I can mount other hardware further away from the slots?
I am housing all of this in a Fractal Meshify 2XL case, by the way.
- has a socket for a Threadripper PRO 7965X
- can handle up to 2TB of R-DIMM DDR5 RAM
- can fit two RTX 4090 GPUs
- has adequate PCIe lanes for the GPUs and multiple M2 SSD drive
