I have been building a computer and I received the last part I need, My cooler yesterday. It came destroyed in the package. The cooling fins are bent and the mounting pins are smashed. So I contacted the company for a replacement/Refund. Now I have the rest of my components sitting on a desk unable to be used because I have no cooler. I have a BestBuy close buy and have been looking at the options they have for a quick replacement. But I have no idea if any of the fans will work.
I have 2 cheap choices I found. I just need something to use as a stock cooler for an i3 12100f that is in stock and ready to pickup at best buy.

Thank you in advance if you know anything about them working with the cpu

The Gravity i2 will not, as it only supports up to LGA 1200, not LGA 1700 like the 12th Gen Intel CPUs use.

The UX100 SAYS it is compatible with the LGA 1700 socket, but I wouldn't use one of those or recommend anybody to either. Not even for an i3. Especially not for a 12th Gen i3 which is a 90w part. I mean, it would work "ok" temporarily, but twenty bucks is a waste for a temporary CPU cooler when you can get a really terrific cooler for 20-30 bucks. Probably going to want to know what case you have too to know what the cooler clearance is although basically any low profile one should probably fit but if you have to buy a cooler anyhow, might as well buy a decent one or just wait for the replacement to arrive.

Are there any other stores near you like a Microcenter or do you have Amazon Prime?

Sorry, I forgot about the case lol
It's a Zalman T6
And you have a good point about wasting 20 bucks on a really cheap cpu cooler. I don't have prime and micro center is about an hour away. I have a feeling I'll end up waiting until the company responds to my email.

That cooler is pretty terrible too. Who did you order it through? Can you just get a refund instead of replacement? I'd try. For about 25 bucks you can get a MUCH better cooler than that one. MUCH better.

Still low profile

You'd never have any cooling issues with your i3 and in fact could upgrade to a higher end CPU using this if you ever wanted to. To some degree anyhow. You won't be running any i9's with it, but it should handle most i5 or Ryzen 5 CPUs perfectly fine.

I ordered so I could cut the budget as low as possible. I mean I didn't need more than the stock cooler anyway. I'll see if they respond to my email. Will It overheat with that cooler or just run badly?
