My workstation build-out has snagged on a new vidcard to drive the new Auria 27" 2560x1440 monitor. After discussions here I chose the EVGA 650x2gig Nvidia product. But, when installed I get **no** signal delivered to the monitor. Legacy GTX9400 manages to drive the Auria with the current Ubuntu 290.xx driver ... yes yes I believe I should have the 310.xx driver.

I could swap-in/swap-out the vidcards and use documented syntax to conjure up the X-swat repository and hope/assume a 310.xx driver version will be the UPDATE. But ... could the issue be my store-brand ULTRA 650W power supply tho assuring 60 amps on the 12-volt rail? I am buffaloed !
