Will exceeding my graphics memory in GTA 5damage my graphics card

I have Nvidia gtx 660 2GB and I am playing GTA 5 at Full settings and resolution at 1600 x someting. I am exceeding my GPU memory by around 500MB. But I am getting pretty decent fps, like 35-40. That's enough fps for me.

So if I exceed my G memory, then will it affect my Graphics card?

No it wont. ive run the game on a 1GB card and it says its using 2 to 2.3gb. I don't think its totally accurate.

It will use it's max watts if it really goes over limit and get a little higher temperatures, but it shall never affect anything. Good luck on gta 5

It goes from using vram to system memory - ram. Its speed then decreases.

so if my voltage increases. then temperature increases. and so it may damage my GPU.?

No it won't. It's okay, just if you have a weak psu which is used all the way you shouldn't play games like gta v.
