Will factory reset solve video scheduler internal error?

I keep getting these BSODS which is video scheduler internal error. It always crashes me when I play games and its happening more often a day now. I've been thinking if a factory reset from Windows 10 will solve this error. I heard this error is the drivers so I'm curious if it can be solved like that
LAPTOP SPECS
I7-7700k
GTX 1050
16gb ram

I think the best thing you can do is Reinstall windows (or even better upgrade to linux). If that doesn't fix it then it's probably a hardware issue and you should RMA the laptop.

Isn't reinstalling windows like factory reset? And also can I RMA the laptop if I bought it off ebay?
