Yes it will. Avoid that monstrosity. It is easily the worst value of any cpu on the market. You could get 90% of the power at 50% of the cost by just getting a FX8350.



For the record, ANY 4th or 6th gen i5 would destroy it for a lot cheaper.

okay for one the fx 9590 does not generally bottleneck the 1070 i have this set up. there is very little to no bottlenecking. gpu usage usally stays at 99% in gpu demanding scenes and going to an i5 will mot give you much performance increase in game. look it up on youtube jayz2cents and other in game comparisons of a 8350vs i5 only like 5-7 fps difference and that gap can be closed by overclocking

Depends on the game. In fallout 4 for example there is a 15 fps difference between the 9590 and 4690k. The FX barely beats an i3. In Witcher 3 the difference is smaller.

well actually 9590 will bottleneck almost every game but thanks for the answer anyway

im confused as to why you would ask if it bottlenecks a 1070 if you say it bottlenecks every game? also you said you can only use your card up to 40%, maybe somethings wrong with your gpu cause i have this set up and i can use my gpu to 99% alot of the time

i dont know actually which monitor but 1920x1080 standart and 60hz

i can play witcher 3 on Highest settings 60fps fix. but when i change game i mean like tom clancy's the division fps dropped as hell, same result Rust and ARK: Survival evolved
