Hello!
I want to buy a graphics card for a computer I acquired. I am looking at the Evga GTX 1050 ti. I like it because it is fairly cheap and doesn't require much power. The computer is a Dell Vostro 460. (Has i7 2600, 16gb DDR3, stock motherboard) The motherboard does not support UEFI. Is that a problem? The PSU is 300W. Is that a problem?

If it won't work in that, will it work in an Inspiron 3847? (Has 4th gen i5, stock motherboard, probably 8gb DDR3) It does support UEFI but the PSU is the same.

Thanks!

It should at least "work" to point where it might wear out a 300W PSU faster by like a couple of years. I got a an old Vostro 260 running a GTX 970 which needs even more power, and I figure the PSU will be sacrificed sooner or later, but it works for now.
