So im thinking about buying a gtx 1080, but not sure if its too strong for my system. this is what im running:

i5 4590 3.3GHz (proccesor)
Gigabyte B85M-HD3 (mother board)
NVIDIA Gefore gtx 960 4GB (GPU)
16 GB ddr3 ram
600 W PSU

Currently im starting to looking into streaming as well, but for now will any of my components bottleneck the gtx 1080? if yea whats the recommended GPU for my setup?

the best i7 that is compatible with your mobo is a i7 4790(k)

ok good to know, thanks. sadly when me and my friends built my PC we accidently took this mobo, we wanted the D3H which i better i think, not sure. so if i were to switch a mobo aswell, what core will you recommend with a gtx 1080 to get high fps on on games like bf1 and demanding games like that while streaming?

and for those i need to change my mobo right? are they a big different so its worth the husle, or should i comprimise and get the 4790k with the 1080 and whne i can get a better monitor and be done with it? cause ive seen some videos and i see the 4790k + gtx 1080 can get over 90 fps on really high graphic games and thats while recording which means itll be about the same while streaming right? that seems like really solid chice, unless you think that one of those cores can get significant higher proformance? thanks so much for all the help btw :D

correct new mobo for either 8600 or 8700

the i7 4790k is basically a bit slower i7 7700k, still a great cpu, and wont hold back the 1080
