Will GTX 960 work with Old motherboard?

i Have a pretty old pc and i want a new graphics card but i dont know will it work with such a pc
specs:
CPU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
Kentsfield 65nm Technology
RAM
6,00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 333MHz (5-5-5-15)
Motherboard
Foxconn 9657AA (Socket 775)
PowerSupply 400w

I reckon it will work, I run one on an old Wolfdale board which is only one generation on.

I works, I have the same configuration with a GTX1060 6GB. The only weak point in your pc is the power supply, I recommend a higher wattage.

Your CPU will probably bottleneck you a little. Also I can't see it having PCI-E 3.0 so you might lose a bit of performance.
But it will work.
