It is compatible.. but like what syked3 said, it will most likely run at 1333 by default. But if your board has XMP, you can simply enable it in BIOS and it should take the DRAM freq up to 1600Mhz. It also depends on how many sticks you're running.
It will compatible but your RAM will run at a slightly slower speed (1333 compared to 1600). However, if your CPU can handle a faster RAM speed, it may be possible to run that RAM at that speed by tweaking some settings
