[SOLVED] Will HDMI help me run 144hz on my ACER GN246HL ?

I have Acer gn246hl and I bought a Inno3d RTX 2060
And I just realized after I bought it that it doesn't have a Dvi D port in it
The acer monitor has HDMI 1.4a port and the rtx 2070 has HDMI 2.0 port

So If I buy an HDMI 2.0 cable will it work on 144hz ?

what they say there, is that hdmi 1.4 and 2.0 are compatible but you won't get 144hz since that monitor only supports 60hz over hdmi.
you can get an adapter hdmi to dvi (put it on the card) then run a dvi cable.

don't use a dvi to hdmi cable.
they suck, break and don't work.
