I was thinking about getting a new case and found the Q300L. It offers alot for the price. I was wondering if hyper 212 evo will fit in?

CM in its infinite wisdom made a budget case with 159mm of clearance, and a world wide best selling budget cpu cooler at 160mm.

Id like to say yes, it'll fit, but without actually doing it, there's no way to tell exactly how much leeway and how accurate the case measurements as far as clearance goes. I've seen ppl stick a hyper212 in cases claiming 152mm max cooler size, and they fit with @ 1mm to spare. Acrylic side panels do flex, tempered glass not so much, so that too might be a consideration, possible damage to the cpu/socket if an acrylic window panel gets squished even slightly when using a larger than certified cooler.

There are other options to a hyper212 that are both better all around and smaller in height dimensions, if you really want that case and the cooler is too much in doubt. Me personally, I'd not sacrifice a case for the sake of a hyper212, it's too mediocre a cooler and too easy to replace for better results.

Also I think of getting a new case bc the current one doesnt have enough clearance for the CPU cooler. The Hyper 212 Evo is 159 and the Aerocool Cylon is 155. Im getting a bit worried about this. I hope the pressure is not enough to do damage on the cpu. its an acrylic panel so its bending quite a lot which i think relieves the pressure.

The 212 is the EVO, its just a shorter way of writing it.
As for your case, consider the cryorig H7. Clocks in at 145mm, and performs better than the evo.
Yeah but I got it like 1 month ago and nor my uncle ( IT specialist;he gave it to me as a gift) nor my wallet will agree on that so I settled on getting a new budget oriented case with bigger cpu clearance and being kinda small at the same time (micro-ATX to be exact)

Should I consider those 4mm as something dangerous since its bending the acrylic panel a lot? Doesnt look like "a lot" but still. I care about the CPU....f**k the acrylic panel.

Should fit (just barely).

All the hyper212 are the same, same mount even. The only real difference is the fan. The original fan was pretty bad, and very loud. The Plus added a second fan, which added noise and dropped temps a few °C. The EVO got a serious fan upgrade, much better temps and noise. The RGB was worse due to the lackluster fan performance, even if it looked OK. It wasn't until the hyper212 Black that that terrible mounting system was changed, to copy something similar to what Noctua has been using for years.

All the CM hyper212 series are 159mm

No. Those heatpipes are liquid filled. The tops you see are where the hollow pipes are terminated, sealing the liquid inside.

If the case says fits upto 159mm, and the hyper212 is 159mm, CM is saying it will fit, with room to spare for side flex, a margin/buffer zone.

So it should fit... but the question remains...should i drind the acrylic side pane lof my current case just a little bit where the top of the heat pipes are hitting it so that it doesnt bend the panel that much? And also will it be visible from the outside?
