I am thinking of getting a Zotac GTX 970 and was wondering if I will be able to power it with a Seasonic S12ii 620w power supply. Thanks.

Solution
Yes. That PSU is a good quality unit and actually is about 70w more than the minimum requirement for a GTX 970. You'll be perfectly fine with that, even with an OC.
For a system using a single GeForce GTX 970 graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 35 Amps or greater and that has at least two 75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors. (Minimum system power requirement based on a PC configured with an Intel Core i7 3.2GHz 130 Watt TDP processor.)

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

Sea Sonic S12II Bronze Series 620W (SS-620GB)
• OEM: Sea Sonic
• maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 48 Amps
two (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors
• Modular Output Cables: No
• Official Intel Haswell Compliance: No
• 80 PLUS BRONZE Efficiency Certification
• 5 Year Limited Warranty

Thanks for helping out again.
I am upgrading, and these were my specs before I decided to get the GTX 970.

i5-4690K
Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB RAM
MSI/Sapphire R9 280
Cooler Master K281
Seasonic S12II 620 w

Then I decided I could scrap the 4690K and get a 4690 instead with an ASUS H97 Plus and get a GTX 970 instead of the R9 280. I just needed to know whether my PSU would support it.
This is another thread I posted a few days back while trying to decide on components.

Do you think I can run the GTX 970 with a Seasonic ECO 600 PSU? Or a Corsair VS650?
